From the Minister’s Desk

To the Boulevard Church Family. As COVID-19 continues to plague our nation, the minister and leaders of this church are actively following, on a daily basis, the information that is disseminated by the CDC and the government regarding precautionary measures, as well as having direct communications with medical doctors.

Because of recent developments, we have implemented the following changes:

  1. All services for the Boulevard Church of Christ, Bible study and Worship, effective 3/20/20 have been dismissed until further notice.

  2. We will be streaming Sunday morning worship and Wednesday night bible study beginning 3/22/20. Please click the "Streaming" button below to view the live stream. All acts of worship will be conducted so please obtain your communion packs by contacting the church office at 901-345-1591. *** There is NO need to create a Facebook account if you do not already have one. When the popup box appears click "Not Now" ***

  3. If you do not have access to the internet, access the audio service by dialing in to 312.626.6799, Meeting ID: 889 4165 0024, Password: 933283. Please mute your phone to eliminate background noise.

  4. If you have prayer request, please email them to wil.jack8421@gmail.com prior to the Sunday telecast.

  5. Please use online giving for contributions. Click the "Online Giving" button below or  go to https://onrealm.org/boulevardcoc/-/give/now to be directly linked online giving. If online giving is not your preference, you can mail your contributions each Monday so that our financial team can process it in a timely manner.

  6. Any mature members who have a desire to have worship brought to them should contact the church office at 901-345-1591.

  7. All mature members, please be aware that there are several retailers who have early shopping hours for senior citizens. Target, Whole foods and Dollar General are the ones that we are currently aware of. Please check store listings for time.

  8. Any scheduled meetings should be on an as needed basis only. We are looking to additional options such as GO TO MEETING etc.

  9. Per church policy, any use of the building must be scheduled through the church office. This is especially critical in light of COVID-19.

  10. And please continue to adhere to all sanitation practices per the CDC.

In light of the rapidly changing situation, and directives from the CDC and government

officials, we feel that this decision is necessary. But again I remind you that “we cannot allow fear to affect our faith”. Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. I would also encourage you, in an effort to not lose our connectedness, to call or text members during the week just to say hi. We serve a mighty God and He will get us through this.

Because of His love,

W. Michael Jackson

Elder/Minister
